  • Own backend and frontend development for a Canadian insurance platform processing more than 1 million transactions per month, building REST services in Node.js and client applications in Angular 17.
  • Designed and delivered a database-driven dynamic signup framework across backend and frontend, replacing multiple hard-coded signup flows with one reusable component whose fields, validations, and screens are loaded from the database.
  • Reduced signup change requests from multi-component code releases to a single database configuration update, eliminating code changes, regression testing, and redeployment for form modifications.
  • Built the framework to cover personal information capture, plan selection, and summary screens; it onboards approximately 1,000 new members per month and has run seamlessly in production since launch.
  • Single-handedly modernized a legacy Java codebase, migrating javax namespaces to Jakarta across Maven, Gradle, and JSP/Servlet projects and updating MySQL connector dependencies to compatible versions.
  • Upgraded Apache Tomcat from version 9 to 10.1.x across environments, resolving compatibility issues and bringing the platform onto a supported, security-patched runtime.
  • Hardened application security by adding an authentication layer to backend APIs that were previously reachable directly by URL without any access control.
